Shipping

Virginia law allows us to ship anywhere. It is the receiving states whose laws restrict us from shipping wines directly to its residents. The issue is complex and tied up in a myriad of court, lobbying, and legislative battles. Each individual states’ laws can and do change at any legislative assembly. At this time it is almost impossible for a small winery operation to track the legality of shipping to other states. Although we strongly disagree with these restrictive laws, we will respect them.

Linden will only ship wines to residents in the state of Virginia. If and when the laws change, so will our policies. For those in Virginia, please call to place an order (540) 364-1997. We will not ship if weather conditions are too hot or too cold to the point where the wine could be damaged.
