2016 Linden Rosé

Rosé always marks the first release of a new vintage. It is a wine that is best enjoyed while it is fresh and vibrant. The 2016 edition is a bit different than past Linden Rosés. Paler in color with a bit more weight and richness, the warm vintage 2016 is reflected and respected.

The 2016 Rosé was made by harvesting certain blocks of red grapes and pressing them immediately in a white wine style. The French refer to this as vin gris. We felt it appropriate given the warm harvest conditions. It was our way of preserving acidity and fruit character.
