2014 Petit Verdot
Sinewy: lean and muscular. This is a wine that won’t relax any time soon. It’s all muscle, no fat, with a bright acidity that gives the wine length and freshness. We’ve held back an ample stock of bottles knowing that its best years are yet to come.
It is reminiscent of old school Italian reds: the ones that pair with pasta. Before the Parker era.
This is an autumn wine. Aromas of that first fire in the woodstove and fallen leaves. Crunchy tart red apples and persimmons.
Each weekend Linden features an older vintage from our wine library for tasting. Additionally, Friends of Linden can purchase a carafe of the wine to enjoy on the deck. Unfortunately we rarely have enough stock to purchase by the bottle.
