The Shift

Very warm temperatures have accelerated and advanced the coming of spring. Day break now greets us with a soft, still quiet and a warm sun. The shift has happened. Greening pastures, florescent willow canopies and bright blooms of all sorts. The vines even show signs of activity with buds swelling.

Our daily routine has also shifted. No more extra cup of coffee by the fire. The mornings are more purposeful with lists. Start times are dictated by the sunrise and working light. Time flows faster now as the spring demands us to reprioritize and take care of all those jobs that were always stuck at the bottom of the list.

The days are longer and they are more satisfying.
